Veronica’s theater credits include Center Theatre Group, New York Theatre Workshop, The Metropolitan Opera, The Muny, Chicago Lyric Opera, The Hammer Museum, Washington National Opera, Shakespeare Theatre Company, IAMA Theatre Company, Northern Stage, Joe’s Pub, NYMF, The Sappho Project, The Times Square Project, The Tank, House of Yes, Bridge Production Group, NYNW Theatre Festival, and VoxLab.

She has been Associate/Assistant Director for Rachel Chavkin, Maggie Burrows, Arpita Mukherjee, Steph Paul, and has assisted playwrights Liliana Padilla, Alexis Sheer, and songwriter Abigail Barlow.

Veronica is currently developing the dance opera INTERIOR with composer Shaye Swanson, which has received a Bold Ventures Grant from the Helen Gurley Brown Foundation.

Veronica has worked in production on music videos, short films and commercials for The Weeknd, Barlow&Bear, Danny Pudi/Hypokrit Productions, Beats, BMW, Facebook, Ford, Honda, JC Penny, MLB, NFL, Nike, Peleton, State Farm, Taco Bell, Target, Theragun, VICE, Wendy’s and more.  

TEACHING

Veronica has intimacy choreographed, taught dance, and hosted workshops at universities (Williams College, Dartmouth College, USC School of Cinematic Arts, New York Film Academy, Georgetown University) and at Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and New Orleans public schools.

Veronica Sofia Burt is represented by Go 2 Talent Agency in Los Angeles and CESD Talent Agency in New York. She is a proud union member and belongs to the Actor’s Equity Association and American Guild of Musical Artists.

She holds a BA in Theater and English from Dartmouth College, having trained with London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, University North Carolina School of the Arts, and Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet.
